The Dental Implant Procedure

At CFS Dental, we only use Noble Biocare and Astra Implant systems. Both of these systems are manufactured in Sweden, where contemporary titanium implants were invented.

Do dental implants hurt?

Dr Ng and Dr Boulos share the common goal of making sure dental procedures are comfortable for our patients. We will always completely numb the area where your procedure will take place, so your treatment is as painless as possible

Normally, pain is not a regular feature in most implant procedures, as there are very few nerves in the jawbone. In some complicated cases, involving multiple implants and grafting procedures, a short course of analgesics postoperatively will usually suffice to control pain.

The mouth heals quickly with the proper care at home. We will go over post-operative instructions to help you enjoy healthy healing without complication.

The integration process for dental implants takes about 3-6 months. As your implant integrates with your jawbone, you will not feel pain. We will arrange routine follow-up visits to monitor healing and ensure that the process goes smoothly.

After integration, we will then plan for your final restoration – the dental implant crown. This procedure is non-invasive and since your dental implant is made of titanium, requires no prep to natural teeth.
